We keep a waitlist for people who are interested in buying Babydoll sheep from us. Great quality, purebred Babydoll Southdowns are in short supply and generally are not available at short notice
We encourage you to think about what combination of sheep will work for your space. New to keeping sheep? Then a couple of wethers could be a good place to start. If you are planning to breed sheep then starting with a flock of ewes and adding a ram when the ewes are old enough for breeding (18 months) is a solid approach.
Each spring, our lambs are born and they will be available for their new home once they are weaned at about 12 weeks. The importance of the nursing relationship is one that cannot be overlooked.
Sheep are a companion animal with a strong flocking instinct and will not do well without another sheep as a companion. Therefore, you must already own sheep or will need to purchase a pair. Wethers are a good choice as a companion and less expensive too.
Interested in starting your own flock of Babydoll sheep? Jointhe waiting list below now! There is no commitment to be put on the list right now, but once the lambs are born and we know color/gender we will work our way down the list and start collecting a deposit of $250 per lamb for those who are ready to commit. Payment must be received within 24 hours. If no response is received within 48 hours, we will contact the next person on the list until all the lambs are spoken for. Once a deposit is received, we will reserve the lamb for you. Deposits will be refunded 100% in the event that we cannot provide the lamb for any reason. We will have more black lambs than white ones. Buyers who back out after paying the deposit will not have their deposit refunded.
